Dr Roberson grew up in a large family in rural southern Wisconsin.
Kent Roberson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Letourneau College in Longview Texas. His major study was in Biology. He earned a Master of Science Degree from the University of Nebraska. His degree there was in Agronomy. His research was in Soil Science. His thesis can be found in the University of Nebraska Libraries.
Prompted by a compassion for people needing quality "whole person" health care, Dr. Roberson earned a Medical Doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1992. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine having completed specialty training at the In His Image Family Practice Residency. This 3 year training prepared him to provide extensive, quality care in Family Medicine for the whole person of all ages.
He has practiced Family Medicine in both rural and suburban settings since his graduation, and he is an active pharmaceutical industry clinical research investigator. Dr Roberson is also a Practice Management Advisor for Honesty Physicians Management.
Dr Roberson married Andrea in 1983. They currently parent and home educate their 5 children.
Dr Roberson belongs to the El Paso County Medical Society, the Colorado Medical Society, Christian Medical and Dental Association, the International Society of Travel Medicine, the Colorado Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
He has a particular interest in Caring for the whole person Medical, Psychological, Spiritual and Social.
He has been involved in numerous mission and disaster relief projects in Africa, Asia, South America, Central American and in the US. He is currently involved in missions and development in Afghanistan.
