Dr. Samuel Chang joins our team at Delta Waves after relocating from Atlanta. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, and did his undergraduate studies at the Juilliard School as a concert pianist, touring and performing in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. After finishing his undergraduate studies, he remained in New York City and worked as a derivatives trader on Wall Street until the mid-1990's, when he moved to Southern California to begin his medical training. |

Dr. Chang graduated from medical school at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine where he was also a student leader, including president of his graduating class. He did his Internal Medicine residency with UCLA at their VA Greater Los Angeles Internal Medicine Training. During residency, he won the honor of “Resident Teacher of the Year.” He continued his medical training in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. After finishing his training, he worked as an attending physician at the VA in Sleep Medicine, as well as in Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine. He most recently has lived in Atlanta because his wife, also an internist, attended and completed a fellowship program at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). |

Dr. Chang is a passionate fan of soccer and tennis. He also enjoys bicycling, camping, hiking, and authentic Chinese food. However, his greatest delight is spending time with his wife, toddler sons, and their trusty dog. |
